Tongue and Groove Pine Flooring Why buy laminate when you can buy solid pine kiln dried tongue and groove boards for a similar price? There’s nothing quite like a pine flooring to brighten up your home.

Pine tongue and groove boards, as the name suggests, are one-piece of solid pine from top to bottom. These pine floor boards and kiln dried, ready to be finished with oil or lacquer and with tongue and groove edges. Pine flooring is a great alternative to laminate flooring. Pine flooring comes with similar benefits to laying hardwood flooring, but saves you a lot of money. Pine flooring is the ideal choice for modern living, as well as traditional cottages or homes.

Pine flooring is more popular than ever. Ideal from an aesthetic point of view for older period properties, it is also popular now in more modern houses and flats. Many people will lay pine flooring as a more cost-effective alternate to hardwoods such as oak. Pine flooring is classed as softwood flooring and so, it is usually possible to repair any dents and scratches in the floor boards fairly easily. Many people like the extra character pine floor boards get as it weathers over time. However modern pine floor boards are actually very durable and hard wearing because of new compression techniques.

More about our pine flooring range…
